      Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz Special Guest Lecture ...

St Patrick's Hospital is pleased to present a special guest lecture 'The Mind and The Brain - How are they related?' from Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz M.D. Jeffrey M. Schwartz, a leading neuroscientist and Research Psychiatrist at UCLA School of Medicine, is a seminal thinker and researcher in the field of self-directed neuroplasticity. One of the most famous books he has authored is "Brain Lock: Free Yourself from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Behavior" (1997).

His major interest over the past two decades has been brain imaging/functional neuroanatomy and cognitive-behavioral therapy, with a focus on the pathological mechanisms and psychological treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive disorder (OCD).

This lecture will take place on Thursday July 10th at 7pm in the Dean Swift Lecture Theatre, St Patrick's Hospital, James's St., Dublin 8. All are welcome. [more information]
